Blackjack
In Blackjack at a casino, the person which gives cards faces one to seven players from behind an arc-shaped place. Each player plays his cards independently against the person which gives cards. At the beginning of each level, the player places a bet in the “betting box” and receives an opening hand of two cards. The aim of the game is to get a higher hand totaling than the main person’s hand, but without increasing over 21, which is called “busting”, or “breaking”, or by other terms. Cards with a digit 2 to 10 printed on them compute as that value; the jack, dame, and king (also known as “faces”) compute as 10; the ace card can be either 1 or 11 according to the choice of person that play. The player start first and plays his hand by getting additional cards if he desires. If he goes more then 21 points, he “busts” and automatically loses the cards and his bet. Then the person who gives cards plays his or her hand. If the person which play busts, he loses to all other players who have cards whose values are the same to or below 21. If neither busts, the higher give up total wins. If a person which play ties with the person which gives cards, the hand is a “push” and the bet of player is returned (this means the person which play does not lose his bet, but wins nothing either; this kind of rules does apply in the US as good as in European casinos). It is good for the dealer to lose to some players but relieve beat other players in the same level.
